Now Live on Edraak: Impact Evaluation Course tailored for the Arab World
We are excited to launch the interactive online course: “Impact Evaluation: Methods, Advocacy, and Scalability” now available for free on the Edraak platform.
This course was originally delivered in person in Amman between 19–23 January 2025, with participation from key education stakeholders in Jordan. The content is now available to everyone through a high-quality, self-paced MOOC designed with Arabic-speaking learners in mind—including with Arabic subtitles and platform settings to support accessibility.
This course is led by Professor Howard White, a global leader in impact evaluation who brings over 30 years of experience at institutions such as the World Bank, the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie), and the Campbell Collaboration.
Organized by the Queen Rania Foundation (QRF), and funded by the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF), BHP Foundation and QRF, the course is designed to build practical knowledge on how to measure what works in education and social programs. It explores not just evaluation methods like Randomised Control Trials ( RCTs) and quasi-experiments, but also how to use evidence effectively, engage stakeholders, and scale what works.
